Peony Gown

The Peony Gown is sublimely delicate. Little hand-beaded flowers are scattered across the draped sleeves and climbing peonies adorn the hip and the tulle underlay. The blouson waist joins a narrow inset waistband. The diaphanous silk chiffon skirt is gathered lightly at the waist and has two side splits that billow as you walk. The gown spreads out at the back forming a subtle train and is fastened by an invisible zip at the centre.

Each Bo & Luca piece is carefully hand-beaded in India by artisans who are trained in the traditional art of tambour embroidery. Our silk is hand-dyed in loose-leaf white tea, which creates a characteristic soft ivory hue. All Bo & Luca gowns are made to order, and take 3-6 months to create.

The Peony Gown has a semi-fitted bodice. The skirt is fitted at the waist and is true to size.

This gown is made from pure silk chiffon, and lined with Italian tulle and Indian satin.
