Yet each and every week they welcome their brides with open arms to ensure they find their dream dress for their most special day.

What do you love about your store and working with brides the most?
I think, what I like the most about the store is its coziness and intimate happy atmosphere. I want brides and their loved ones to feel like home, where they can be themselves, have fun and enjoy the journey without any pressure, but with lots of love and happiness. Working with brides has its own very special magic. What I like the most is their journey of finding their perfect dress, the one which really reflects who they are. For me this journey with them is also a journey of empowerment, because from my experience if it comes to brides there is nothing more beautiful and more powerful than a bride, who has found herself and her own story in a dress. I am very thankful for meeting so many different and inspiring women and hearing their stories every day.
What drew you to Bo & Luca, and which piece is your favourite?
For me in general it is important, that a brand has its own signature. Bo & Luca has a beautiful signature, a powerful female identity, and every piece, is a piece of art and craftsmanship. Its design, beading, fabrics, and story are so unique that you immediately recognize the styles as Bo & Luca. Telling which my favorite piece is, is quite difficult to tell because I love all of them. But if I have to pick one, it’s ISRA because it’s the essence of Bo & Luca.
What advice would you give to brides-to-be when searching for their dream gown?
There are two pieces of advice I would give future brides-to-be. First, keep the timeline in mind. High-quality designer gowns are handmade and can take up to 10 months until they are ready. They need their time and you have to factor in some additional time final for the alterations to guarantee the perfect fit. The other one which is maybe even more important; don’t be too worried about, what others think how a bride should look or be like. Think about, which kind of bride you want to be. Look for something which reflects you as a person the most, because from my experience, women are the most beautiful, if they are there selves and show who they are.
What do you love about your store and working with brides the most?
Walking into my store in the morning, turning on the lights, and looking at the most beautiful dresses brings me so much fulfillment and joy. It is a job that I never thought I’d be able to do so every time I get to walk into my own store, owned by my mother and me, I truly feel so grateful. Working with our brides is the most exciting and fulfilling part. To see a bride pick their wedding gown, surrounded by their group of close family or friends, is such a rewarding experience. Our favorite part of working with our brides is seeing them fall in love with their gown because it opens their eyes to their entire wedding day, their partner, and what the rest of their life will look like! It is hard not to get emotional!
What drew you to Bo & Luca, and which piece is your favourite?
What drew us to Bo & Luca is the delicate details, the soft fabrics, and the truly beautiful vibe that the entire brand gives. It is hard to name a favorite but I have and always will love Lou Gown. She so soft and timeless, bringing an effortlessness that I would 100% get remarried in if my husband and I renewed our vows!
What advice would you give to brides-to-be when searching for their dream gown?
Keep an open mind! Don’t compare yourself to the models wearing the gowns and don’t worry if your inspiration photo isn’t close to what you eventually pick. It is so awesome to have brides come in with some elements of gowns they like but that vision will change as you see gowns on yourself and it is totally ok! If you love your dress, that is all that matters.
What do you love about your store and working with brides the most?
We have created a really warm, welcoming space, it’s not all white and your average bridal shop! I love interiors, brides often say, I want my lounge like this or bedroom which I love!!! It is beautiful, and the brides have the bridal room to themselves when they are here. I also have the best team including my sister, best friend and ladies who style and alter the dresses that have worked for me for years and our brides adore.
I personally love meeting new brides and learning about them and thier weddings. I love hearing all about how they met their partner, their engagement stories and all the wedding plans they have. I am definitely a romantic and literally love to hear their stories! Mostly its all about making them feel wonderful and them leaving us with a dress that is truly them. A dress they are comfortable in, feel absolutely amazing but importantly feel like them!
What drew you to Bo & Luca, and which piece is your favourite?
I was drawn to you by your romantic, detailed designs, I felt our rail was missing this. I love the beading and beautiful fabrics you use, they are very special. I think the gown that first grabbed me was Primrose, I just adore the beaded long sleeves and then that open back, with a layered skirt. We have nothing else like this and not something I had seen anywhere else, romantic but still really cool. I also really love Hudson at the moment, I am a sucker for statement sleeves and that dress has them, again the sexy open back and subtly beading is heavenly!
What advice would you give to brides-to-be when searching for their dream gown?
I would say do your research, find a shop that feels like you, that has a few different styles you love. Be organised, give yourself a realistic budget, and know the timeframe shops need to get your dress made and delivered. Most importantly though stay true to yourself, wear a dress YOU love and not the dress you either think you should wear or your family/friends love on you. It’s your day and your dress, you want to feel like the best version of you on your special day and look back thinking, yep that’s truly me, I look Amazing and I felt Amazing!!
What do you love about your store and working with brides the most?
We love that we’ve created a space for local brides to find a gown that speaks to the uniqueness of their own personal style. We’re extremely passionate about working collaboratively with our designers and love being able to provide a personalised experience for our brides. Our favourite moment in appointments has to be the moment when a bride shares how positive of an experience she had. We want all of our brides to walk away feeling empowered and confident in who they are not only as a bride, but a woman.
What drew you to Bo & Luca, and which piece is your favourite?
We were drawn to Bo & Luca because of how unique and detailed the gowns are. Sinatra is our absolute favourite because we love the attention to detail and love how the beadwork creates so much depth and dimension to the gown. Bo & Lucas styles really are one of a kind.
What advice would you give to brides-to-be when searching for their dream gown?
Do your research and make sure your visiting shops that carry designs you’re interested and make sure to give yourself enough time and try to let go of any preconceived notions you have of what you should wear for your wedding. Wear something that you truly love and that makes you happy and forget about what someone else thinks you should wear.
