Picture a glamorous ceremony encapsulating a love of beading, glitter, luxury, and family. The Balcomb’s wedding day was a Black Tie and sparkle-infused occasion held at the Bosch Hoek Estate in Balgowan, South Africa.
After meeting at a romantic rooftop bar in the scenic city of Cape Town, Cath and Stu’s fling began, and no sooner was Cath flying across oceans to America to start their yachting career together. The couple traveled the world, living and working together on the same yacht.
Both individuals grew up going to the Kruger National Park with their families, living on farms along the Crocodile River banks on the edge of the game reserve. The two were engaged on a beautiful rock in the middle of the park and the rest is history!

With an undying love for anything hand-beaded, the bride has always held a place in her heart for the art of beadwork and embroidery. It was with this appreciation that Cath fell in love with Bo & Luca from the moment she walked into the studio, exclaiming; “If I could frame their dresses as a feature in a walk-in closet I would! Maybe I will do this with my own dress?” and,
“They are not dresses, they are works of art and that’s what I love about Bo and Luca.”
