Hudson Gown – Erica & Brendan
COUPLE’S NAMES
Erica & Brendan Browne
WEDDING DATE
22 February 2020
LOCATION
We had our ceremony at Killalea State Park (NSW South Coast). We chose this space as it is somewhere that Brendan spent a lot of time as a child and it is right on the beach which is my favourite place to be. Our reception was at The Woolshed Yalla as we loved the rustic vibe.
GUEST TOTAL
120
PHOTOGRAPHER
Our photographer was Dom from With Love Weddings. We were drawn to his natural photographs and the fact that he takes mostly candid photos as we are not overly confident in front of the camera. He captured so many smiling faces and happiness on our day, it was amazing.

BRIDE’S DRESS
HUDSON gown, Temple by Bo & Luca which I bought through their online boutique!
BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES
My bridesmaids all wore white simple linen dresses.
ENGAGEMENT STORY
We had been together for nearly 4 years when Brendan proposed. It was very simple which is just how we are. We went for a walk in the Royal National Park which is something we love to do and Brendan proposed to me on the cliffs by the ocean. I was totally surprised!
WEDDING THEME
We really wanted a rustic but simple wedding vibe. I have always loved this look so it wasn’t a hard decision to make as having this for our wedding.

WEDDING RINGS
Brendan’s is a dark grey Tungsten. My engagement ring is a round diamond with 14 smaller diamonds along with the band and my wedding ring is a diamond band to match.
WEDDING FAVOURS
We wanted to do our wedding favours ourselves. We had 2 favours- the first was a small jar of honey with our wedding date and names and the second was small brown bags also with our names and the date filled with sunflower seeds for the guests to plant and watch grow.
FLOWERS & BOUQUETS
Again I was just after something simple, I decided to go with white roses for all bouquets. Our stylist arranged amazing flower arrangements for our ceremony including dried palms and all types of oranges in the flowers.
WEDDING CAKE
We chose a 3 tiered semi-naked cake with some coloured flowers on it. It was white chocolate raspberry.
WEDDING SONGS
First dance song- The Man In Me by Bob Dylan followed by Tired of Being Alone by Al Green. We had a DJ and did a lot of dancing! 70s, 80s and 90s hits mainly.
HONEYMOON
We have an amazing around the world honeymoon booked, starting in Africa, then Spain, Cuba, Peru and Chile in June but we are now unsure if we are able to go due to the Coronavirus, but we will figure something out!

MEMORABLE MOMENT
The most memorable moment for me was seeing Brendan as I walked down the aisle. I thought he maybe a little bit emotional but did not expect him to be crying more than me which was really beautiful. We also did a traditional Jewish dance at the reception called the Hava Nagila where Brendan and I get lifted up on chairs which were really fun!
ADVICE FOR BRIDES-TO-BE
Try to take it all in on the day as it goes by quicker than you could ever imagine. I would recommend just taking a moment every 30 mins or so and identifying something you can see, smell, hear and touch.
This helped me remember little bits and pieces of the day that I
may not have otherwise. And the most important thing is to have fun! Nobody will notice the little things that go wrong so don’t stress.
