Lou Gown

The Lou Gown is deeply romantic elegance. The waist and cuffs are adorned with an elegant motif of hand-embroidered silk roses and unfurling leaves. Rendered in glass beads, sequins and satin thread in hues of ivory and palest silver. Crafted from pure silk Georgette, the blouson bodice is lightly gathered at the shoulder and waist. Sheer bishop sleeves fasten at the cuff high a row of covered buttons. The narrow column skirt falls into a regal train and the keyhole back is secured with a single covered button. An invisible zip at the centre back closes the skirt. This gown comes lined with a satin slip.

Each Bo & Luca piece is carefully hand-beaded in India by artisans who are trained in the traditional art of tambour embroidery. Our silk is hand-dyed in loose-leaf white tea, which creates a characteristic soft ivory hue. All Bo & Luca gowns are made to order, and take 3-6 months to create.

The Lou Gown has a relaxed fit on the bodice, and is fitted at the waist and hip. It is true to size.

This gown is crafted from pure silk Georgette, and lined with Indian satin.
