The Peony is sublimely delicate. Little hand-beaded flowers are scattered across the draped sleeves and climbing peonies adorn hip and the tulle underlay. The blouson waist joins a narrow inset waistband. The diaphanous silk chiffon skirt is gathered lightly at the waist and spreads out forming a gentle train. The gown is fastened by an invisible zip at the centre back.

SIZE & FIT

Size 10AU. This top has a relaxed fit, and the skirt is close-fitting at the waist and is true to size.

CONDITION

This gown is in near perfect condition. The skirt lining and chiffon bodice have some makeup marks, and there is a small mark on neckline, though that would likely improve with dry cleaning.

FABRICATION

The gown is made from pure silk chiffon. The underlayer is soft Italian tulle and the lining is Indian satin.
