Bo & Luca gowns and accessories are made from the finest silks and satins—most of our pieces are hand crafted, hand beaded and hand embroidered.
Covid-19 Terms & Conditions
During these uncertain times the Bo & Luca team is doing everything in their power to adhere to timelines as given to us by our brides. Please do contact us if you need any further information on timelines or is your wedding dates happen to change. We will adjust as we can. Please also note that as the situation changes on a week-to-week basis, there is only so much we can control. We will be in touch with you should any dates change and we would so appreciate if you could let us know soonest if dates change on your side.
As each Bo & Luca item is individually handcrafted per order and the creation process of your special piece start as soon as we receive your order, we will unfortunately not be able to accommodate order cancellations.
Bo & Luca offers jewellery and accessories for sale that are in stock and available for dispatch from our distribution centre. Jewellery or accessories in your shopping basket are not reserved until paid in full and may be purchased by other customers.
Bo & Luca gowns are made-to-order, with a production time of three (3) – six (6) months.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
Eligibility to Purchase
In order to make purchases on our site you will be required to provide your personal details. In particular, you must provide your real name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated.
Furthermore, you will be required to provide payment details that you represent and warrant are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Billing information provided.
The Site is available only to individuals and others who meet the Bo & Luca terms of eligibility, who have been issued a valid credit/debit card by a bank acceptable to Bo & Luca, whose applications are acceptable to Bo & Luca and who have authorized Bo & Luca to process a charge or charges on their credit/debit card in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they purchase. Products purchased by the buyer are for personal or gift use and should not be re-sold, used for commercial purposes or any other commercial benefit. In addition, Bo & Luca reserves the right to restrict multiple quantities of an item being shipped to any one customer or postal address.
By making an offer to purchase merchandise you expressly authorise us to perform credit checks and where Bo & Luca feels necessary, to transmit or to obtain information (including any updated information) about you to or from third parties, including but not limited to your credit/debit card number or credit reports (including credit reports for your spouse if you reside in a community property jurisdiction), to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit/debit card, to obtain an initial credit/debit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
Furthermore, you agree that we may use Personal Information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti fraud checks. Personal Information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information.
Prices shown on the Site are in AUD unless otherwise selected. Prices are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate unless you have selected an alternative country where VAT is not chargeable. All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. The price of a product displayed on the Site at the time the order is accepted will be honoured, except in cases of patent error. From time to time, prices are subject to change in response to currency exchange rate changes, markdowns and other commercial factors. The price applicable to your order will be the price current at the time your order is accepted.
Import duty or tax costs will be invoiced to you directly from DHL or an import broker appointed by you. We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion.
If you are a customer whose credit/debit card is not denominated in AUD, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction.
Acceptance of Order
Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received it.
Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Bo & Luca will be completed when we email you to confirm the goods have been dispatched. The sale contract is therefore concluded in Sydney, Australia and the language of the contract is English. Neither our third party payment processor nor our nominated courier has the authority to accept an order on behalf of Bo & Luca.
We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out within the TOS.
We may also refuse to process and therefore accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold, removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the Site, refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
Whilst every effort is made to make sure details on our website are accurate, we may from time to time discover an error in the pricing of products. If we discover an error in the pricing of a product in your order, we will let you know as soon as possible. We shall be under no obligation to accept or fulfil an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price and reserve the right to cancel such an order that has been accepted or is in transit. If you order a product that is priced incorrectly for any reason, we will email you to inform you that we have not accepted your order and/or that the relevant part of your order has been cancelled. If you have already paid for the goods, we shall refund the full amount as soon as we are able. In the event that products are recalled in transit, we will process your refund once the products have been returned to us.
We accept Visa and MasterCard cards, and any other methods which may be clearly advertised on the Site from time to time. You can also choose to pay with PayPal. When selecting this option at checkout, you will be directed to the PayPal site to ‘Log In’ and review the amount shown before clicking ‘Pay Now’. Once this transaction is complete, you will then return to Bo & Luca.com. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon dispatch of your order by Bo & Luca. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Bo & Luca, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
We take reasonable care to make our Site secure. All credit/debit card transactions on this site are processed using a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple, and secure, Bo & Luca uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
Furthermore, we take reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Site.
Promotion codes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Furthermore, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion code or offers, and must be redeemed by the date published, if provided.
Shipping & Deliveries
Shipping is charged at a flat rate of $80AUD on gowns and $20AUD on accessories. You will own the goods on and from the later of the point in time when: (a) we receive payment in full, or (b) we deliver the goods to you.
We aim to ship online accessories/jewellery orders out within two (2) working days after receipt of payment. All gown orders will be dispatched within one-two (1-2) working days from date of completion and receipt of balance payment. Due to the hand crafted nature of our pieces, lead times may vary on certain pieces. We will notify you by email if we cannot proceed with sending out your purchase in the specified time. Delivery times appearing on the site are estimates and are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. In any event, we will deliver the goods to you within 30 days of the day on which we receive your balance payment.
Most international deliveries can be expected within two – five (2-5) working days after dispatch, depending on your location. Bo & Luca is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes or delivery strikes. If delivery is delayed by any event outside of our control, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this, we will not be liable for delays caused by the event.
We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by Bo & Luca, and transfer of responsibility in the same way. The goods are your responsibility from the time we deliver them to the address you gave us.
On occasion, DHL may refuse to deliver your order if they are of the opinion that the shipping address is considered to be unsafe.
We ship our pieces to international clientele, however, all pricing is in Australian dollars unless otherwise selected.
Shipping to destinations outside of Australia is processed through an international customs port into the country of shipment. We will add a commercial invoice to your shipment to make this process easier for your local customs. Clearance of the item will be processed and may have import duties or custom taxes applied. Payment of these duties and taxes are necessary to proceed with importation. These taxes or importation duties are for your account and need to be paid to release your shipment. Duties and taxes vary for different countries. Please contact your local tax department for confirmation of tax levies.
Goods are classified as faulty if there are issues with the beading, beading design, fabric and quality thereof. Please note that items which were received in good condition but become damaged as a result of normal wear and tear; by accident; or through misuse will not be considered faulty. Bo & Luca will require clear visuals (photographs) and a clear written description of the Gowns fault within 7 (seven) days of receiving the garment (for more information see Our Returns Policy).
If your Bo & Luca jewellery or accessory order is faulty when you receive it, you can return it for a refund or exchange within 7 (seven) days from the date you received it (See our Returns Policy). Please include all original packaging and tags.
PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR SAMPLE SALE GOWNS ARE SOLD UNDER THEIR OWN UNIQUE SET OF TERMS & CONDITIONS DISCUSSED IN THIS SECTION. SAMPLE SALE ITEMS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER OUR REGULAR RETURNS POLICY. SAMPLE SALE GOWNS CAN NOT BE RETURNED AND ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUNDS.
Our sample sale gowns are pieces that have been used in our studio and on photoshoots. These gowns are worn items that vary in degree of wear. Gowns on samples sale are examined by the team for wear and tear and marked down accordingly. All sample sale gown prices are final. Please reach out to the team to discuss the finer details of each of the gowns on our sample sale as all the defects might not be listed in the product listing online. You can contact the team at email@example.com to request images of any immediately visible marks or defects on these items, however, please note that we will endeavor to do our best to notify you of all major noticeable stains and defects on the outside of your gown (visible when on the body), however almost all of our sample gowns might have make-up and other wear marks on the inside lining (not visible when on the body). The team reserves the right to decide whether these marks will make an overall difference in appearance when the gown is on the body and we might not be able to provide you with details and images of each and every mark on the inside lining of a garment.
All dry cleaning and alterations on sample sale pieces will be for the bride’s account. We do not offer these services on our sample sale pieces. Please bear in mind that due to samples being of standard size, there will almost certainly be a varying degree of alterations needed to have this gown fit you perfectly. Please also consider the price of dry-cleaning when you purchase a sample sale gown.
Many of our sample gowns feature hand-beaded details and with wear, some of these beads might have come loose. The team takes this into consideration when pricing each garment and reduces the price accordingly. It should be expected that a sample sale gown might arrive with you with a few scattered beads missing here and here. This is expected from a worn, delicately hand-beaded garment that has been marked down.
Due to the heavily reduced prices of sample sale gowns, we do not over refunds or returns on these items for any reason. All sample sale sales are final and we can not provide refunds for change of mind, or if you experience a fit issue or minor defects in your gown. The Bo & Luca team will do our best to provide you with as much information as you might need with regards to your chosen sample sale gown, however, please note, that under no circumstances can we provide you with a refund or return on these items once it has arrived with you.
Sample Sale items are shipped without a dress bag and branded box – these items are well wrapped in Bo & Luca Signature wrapping to secure it on it’s way to you.
Our returns policy
Bo & Luca will not accept any returns on completed gowns that were received in good condition and are deemed to be free of fault or production errors.
Should you receive Accessory/Jewellery (including earrings) which you feel is faulty and you would like to issue a return we require that you send visuals (photographs/media images) of the fault in question along with a detailed email explanation of the items imperfection to firstname.lastname@example.org. This email and the accompanying visuals must be sent within 7 (seven) days of receiving the newly made item (not including our sample sale – sample sale gowns are sold as-is and are not eligible for refunds and returns). Bo & Luca will attend to this email at the earliest possible time and may, at its discretion, require further information or a second opinion. Bo & Luca will confirm, in writing whether the item is deemed faulty and will advise on the return delivery address and process. Only once a Bo & Luca employee deems the item unfit (in writing), should the purchaser prepare to return the garment. The item should then be returned unused and with all Bo & Luca and designer garment tags still attached and where provided, belts and any packaging such as authenticity cards and dust bags should be included with your return.
Bo & Luca will do the utmost of our ability to repair the item to ensure that it is free from any defect, and in instances where this is not possible, we will replace the item entirely. The above will incur no cost to you as we strive to ensure that each Bo & Luca customer is 100% satisfied with their purchase. Furthermore, the cost of the return and its accompanying customs duties is covered by Bo & Luca.

Refunds & Exchanges
As our gowns are made to order, we cannot provide a refund on your deposit once the gown’s production process has begun. We will make reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
Exchanges will only apply to Jewellery and Accessories (excluding Earrings for safety reasons) and you will need to notify Bo & Luca in writing (firstname.lastname@example.org) of your desire to exchange the item within 7 days of receiving the goods. This email will need to include an explanation of your desire to exchange the goods along with your with your purchase order to allow for easy processing. Jewellery and Accessories pieces can only be exchanged for goods of the same value. Only once a Bo & Luca employee has accepted the exchange (in writing) and notified you of the return address should you prepare the item for shipping. The item should then be returned unused and with all Bo & Luca designer tags still attached and where provided any packaging such as authenticity cards. You will have to bear the cost of returning the goods as well as an administration fee of AUD $12.00. We advise requesting a valid tracking number for your exchange to ensure that the parcel is delivered within a reasonable timeframe.
If you wish to return your item, please contact email@example.com so we can arrange a collection from your desired location. Please do not attempt to return any goods to us of your own accord. Any intention to do so will lead to us not being able to accept the return and process your return/refund. Furthermore, the return cost of your parcel will be deducted from your purchase, along with the initial shipping amount.
Gowns & Customization
Once you have ordered your gown through our stylist or online, our production team will be in touch to discuss your measurements and wedding/delivery dates. We rely on our online brides to send us their measurements and to make sure that these are accurate. We can not take responsibility for inaccurate measurements. Our production team will do their best to create your custom gown pattern as specified by your measurements, however, please note that as is the case with most customized pieces, there might still be minor alterations needed to your gown to ensure a perfect fit as we do not use stretch fabrications in our pieces. All final alterations to your gown will be for your account.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on our website. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be completely accurate.
We offer do offer returns on certain items and monitor the number of returns made by customers. Continued returns will be flagged and may, at our discretion, lead to future orders being refused.
Intellectual property rights
the Content (as described in the Content section below), including Bo & Luca Software and all HTML and other code contained in this Site. All such Content including third party trademarks, designs, and related intellectual property rights mentioned or displayed on this Site are protected by national intellectual property and other laws and international treaty provisions. You are permitted to use the Content only as expressly authorized by Bo & Luca and/or its third party licensors. Any reproduction or redistribution of the above listed Content is prohibited and may result in civil and criminal penalties. Without limiting the foregoing, copying and use of the above listed materials to any other server, location or support for publication, reproduction or distribution is expressly prohibited. However, you are permitted to make one copy for the purposes of viewing Content for your own personal use.
In addition to the Intellectual property rights mentioned above, “Content” is defined as any graphics, photographs, including all image rights, sounds, music, video, audio or text on this Site. Bo & Luca tries to ensure that the information on this site is accurate and complete. Bo & Luca does not promise that Bo & Luca Content is accurate or error-free. Bo & Luca does not promise that the functional aspects of the Site or Bo & Luca Content will be error free or that this Site, Bo & Luca Content or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. The TOS together with all our policies and procedures will be governed by and construed in accordance to the Australian law and the relevant courts of Australia.
