The Story Behind Our New Collection – Endless Nostalgia
Ask any of our brides if the last year drastically changed how they thought their wedding day would pan out, and you’ll get a resounding, “Big time!”
Although there has been a lot going on and things have taken many unexpected turns, we’ve loved looking back over this tough time and seeing love win.
Regardless of the circumstances, many brides went ahead with their marriage. With the loss of loved ones or family members being unable to travel abroad and attend, these individuals made the most of their situation and moved forward in bittersweet celebration of life’s greatest gift; love.
For the lucky ones, intimate ceremonies made it possible to spend their special day with those nearest and dearest to them, despite limitations.

With happiness and melancholy becoming synonymous, we wanted to honour and draw on the good that we’ve found ever since the beginning of the pandemic. Let it be said that we do still long for the past, where the sky was the limit and first choice wedding dates were unfaltering, however, we are hopeful for the future.
Thus, Endless Nostalgia came to be, paying homage to nostalgic moments of a day you’ll cherish forever. A wistful beginning in a turbulent time of yearning and a tangible expression of treasured memories.
With soft statement sleeves, separates, and intricately hand-beaded bodices, this collection embodies romance at it’s finest.

We noticed a need in brides wanting to feel comfortable on their wedding day as opposed to wearing more stiff, traditional looks worn in the past. The fit of our new wedding gowns is relaxed and in staying true to the collection’s overall theme, we reminisced, recalled, and recreated designs from our Bo & Luca icons. These include our Isra, Tulsa, and Amelie gowns, which we know our brides have always loved.
After the past two years in the making, and given the global circumstances, we drew inspiration for Endless Nostalgia’s floral beading from our ever-growing appreciation of the great outdoors. All beading designs were inspired by gardens and all things botanical. This kind of intricate labour of love takes hours to create and all beads and fabrics are hand-dyed for a unique Bo & Luca wedding look.
With four to six months worth of creation time, it’s fair to say that each piece of our new collection is a treasured keepsake.
Luxurious silks, chiffons, organza, georgettes, intricate hand-beading, memories to be made and moments to be cherished forevermore. Now we wait for October, for the long-anticipated ‘Endless Nostalgia’ dream wedding gowns to launch.
