Our Temple by Bo & Luca wedding gowns is available to experience at the beautiful loft style boutique SoHo Bride in Geelong, Australia. We spoke to SoHo’s owner, Jade about how she started, why she decided to stock our Temple pieces and what inspires her.
HOW DID YOU FIND YOURSELF IN THE BRIDAL INDUSTRY?
I have grown up surrounded by luxury textiles from raw silk, to shot taffeta. My father had a textiles mill and I used to design and make up dresses to wear while running around the countryside. My father would bring back new textiles on his trips to Italy to play with also. Working as a makeup artist and stylist for many years and getting married last year, finally lead me to live the realisation of this dream to help brides find their perfect gown to reflect themselves.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR BOUTIQUE?
Art Gallery, where pieces are displayed as individual pieces of art. Somethings for all bridal styles to reflect ‘their art’, while respecting the beautifully created and selected pieces.
LESS OR MORE?
Less is more.
WHAT’S THE BIGGEST BRIDAL TREND OF THE SEASON?
Jumpsuits and two pieces with a twist.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FUTURE GOALS?
Too many to name! To open a studio out of a country estate.
WHO WOULD BE YOUR DREAM BRIDE TO DRESS?
I love the variety and individual beauty and personalities, so my dream bride to dress is you. A close second would be Caroline de Maigret, Kate Moss, Jennifer Stenglein, Gabrielle Gaddot, Emilia Clarke, Ruby Rose.
WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’D LEAVE WITH BRIDES IN SEARCH OF THEIR PERFECT WEDDING GOWN?
Keep an open mind.
OF ALL THE BRANDS AND DESIGNERS, WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE BO & LUCA?
Their exquisite attention to detail, boho but sophisticated, classy and standout, quality, ethics as a brand and genuine passion and commitment to their creations. Individual and distinctive.
