Iris Gown & Cape

The Iris Gown is understated perfection. The fitted bodice has a plunging neckline and softly draped shoulder. The waist is accentuated with geometric cutouts. The mock wrap fit and flare skirt has asymmetric draping and ends in a regal train. The closure is an invisible zip at the centre back. The beaded cape is detachable and falls in a soft cowl at the back waist. It is adorned with a celestial motif of scattered stars, hand-embroidered with faceted crystals and bugle beads, and accented with moonstones. The Iris Gown can be purchased on its own or with the Iris Cape.

Each Bo & Luca piece is carefully hand-beaded in India by artisans who are trained in the traditional art of tambour embroidery. Our silk is hand-dyed in loose-leaf white tea, which creates a characteristic soft ivory hue. All Bo & Luca gowns are made to order, and take 3-6 months to create.

The Iris Gown has a fitted bodice, the skirt is fitted to the hip waist and is true to size. The cape measures 2,7m.

This gown is made from faux satin and lined with Indian satin. The cape is made from Italian Tulle.
